Hydrocodone while nursing?

So i just got rx’d Hydrocodone for severe migraines. I’m almost three weeks pp and my migraines are so bad I’m physically unable to function and take care of my baby. I already have more medications to help, the hydro is on hand when it’s REALLY bad. So I am not using it everyday or multiple times a day.

Has anyone had experience taking this while BF’ing? My doctor said some excretes into milk and just monitor baby’s breathing. And I can pump and dump if it makes me feel better ( which I’ll prob do).
