So my grandparents were visiting us and my dad and them were talking about how my cousin was affected by dropping out of school, like that he gained much weight by it. Then my dad told me that he saw me walking home from school and I was joking saying that it was rude of him to not pick me up. So he said that walking more isn’t bad for me or my cousin and that we should do it more often. No one was laughing and I didn’t know how to take it because it didn’t sound like he was joking.

Was that rude or am I just sensitive? Because it made me really sad and I feel like he fat-shamed me but idk.
