Looking for a (tiny) change

So here is my hair nowish. Ive been wearing it curly(which it is naturally curly but i dont have a picture). I have had highlights and lowlights in the past but im reallt looking to just go darker.

Im just looking for an opinion if you think that would look good or if it would even look different lol. OR if you have a color suggestion for me. I have appointment set for novembee 2nd so i have some time to decide. Also bonus any cut suggestions - ive literally had the same hair cut since highschool 😩😵
