Number of Ultra Sounds?

Hello, fellow February 2020 mamas! I hope your Thursdays are going amazing! 
Quick, trivial question: is it common practice to get any more ultrasounds after the 20 week anatomy scan? Keeping in mind that I live in the US and am blessed to have low risk pregnancy.
I can't stop looking at all of my baby girl's ultrasounds- week 8, week 12, week 20- and seeing HOW MUCH she's changed and grown in just 20 weeks. It kinda makes me sad to think that I might not get to see her again before February 29th(ish).

With my first I had a dating scan around 8-10 weeks, anatomy scan around 20 weeks, and one more scan a couple weeks before my due date to check size and position. Although the last one there isn't much to see because they are VERY SQUISHED lol

With my first pregnancy I had ultrasounds at 9 weeks, 12 weeks, 20 weeks, and 32 weeks. The 32 weeks scan was to determine if the baby has turned/was head down and the estimated weight of the baby.

I only get two my entire pregnancy. 8 weeks and 20 weeks. Same for my first pregnancy. But my doctor does let me hear the heartbeat or see the baby at every appointment. He either uses a Doppler or he uses this little tiny hand held ultrasound.

I am "high risk", but only because of age. I'm also in the US. I had the same as you so far, and was told I will have a growth scan at 36 weeks.

I’m high risk and live in the US too and I get ultrasounds every 2 weeks because they were monitoring her heart but because she’s healthy they are now moving them to every month to continue monitoring growth. I’m currently 24 weeks I’ll have my next scan at 29 weeks at my ob.

I’ve had multiple ultrasounds due to me being high risk... I see a perinatal specialist once a month which does an ultrasound each visit and my regular doctor once month as well which I done have to have an ultrasound with each appointment.... I’ll be 40 years old with my 4th child in next month and I have hypertension

With my first I had a ton of ultrasounds and was low risk. My doctor had one in his office and would take a look almost every other week. While I enjoyed it, it was also used to give me false information which lead to my induction and c-section. I’m sad I won’t see little boy again but happy that I won’t be set up again. Standard protocol is one for pregnancy confirmation and one for the anatomy scan.

I'm only getting growth scans every now and then. I plan on doing a 3D scan only because we did it with our other daughter and want them both to have that in their albums.

I'm not high risk but they are watching me very closely like I am..( I'm over weight) and I have had 3 already and they have another 5 set up already.
