I was taking these but in both of my pregnancy books it says to stay away from herbs, does anyone know why?

You should stay away from certain ones because some cause miscarriages or other complications. For Example Juniper if you ingest it in a high enough dose it'll harm your child. Queen Anne's lace will do about the same but by forcing you into labor and shedding your uterine lining. And there are many other herbs to watch for that cause other things like Aloe Vera, and Peppermint. Just look up the herbs and they will tell you not to Eat them in anyway or use them in soaps or lotions. Like you can hold them and be fine. But the only way they will harm the baby is if you eat or drink them and use them in skin products like multiple times a day every day of the pregnancy and in crazy high doses with some herbs.

I've tried those but they didnt do much for me. I went back to my normal pronatal vitamins. We also got the ones for men and my husband likes them.
Reviews said to stay away from them after pregnancy even though it says you can take them into the first trimester. What I did was, I took them until ovulation and then switched back to regular pro-natal ones. Just in case
