Marriage counseling

My husband and I have been married for 8 years now. I love my husband with all my heart. We recently got into an argument and now he wants to see a marriage counselor to see if our marriage worth saving or if we need to move on. My opinion is to see one to hear each other and what we can to do make our marriage better. I want to go for him and to work on it. Not to just see if it’s worth it.

I know one person who sees a counselor and thinks it’s the best thing. Other than that, I have no clue and would like to know if it does help.
