I’m not worried, just wondering. Forgive me if this is a silly question, I’m a FTM.

We have been very enthusiastic about reading to our baby. I am a big nerdy bookworm and always pictured our daughter to be a big reader too.

I started reading to her from the day she was born 🙂

I still read to her every day. At this age (she’s 6months) how interested are they supposed to be in books?? When I read to her she either grabs the book and tries to chew it or throws it around. Sometimes she’ll stare at the pictures but not for very long. Now that she knows how to roll, she actually just rolls away 😂😂😂

Is this developmentally normal? Will an interest in books grow in time?

I should add: she is a very active baby. Can’t stay still for very long.
