So my partner and I decided to get married ages ago but now we’re expecting our first in January so we decided to start planning a small wedding for the end of next year but people keep asking me where’s my engagement ring?

I don’t really like jewellery and would honestly be happy with a simple gold wedding band at the wedding, maybe a cheap engagement ring with a stone or something.

Also the kind of work I’ve previously done wouldn’t allow a ring/had to wrap it if it was a simple band.

Wanted to know what other people are doing/have done?

Did you have an engagement ring?
