I can feel my IUD strings when I have never been able to before

my boyfriend and I were messing around and he said he felt my IUD strings with his fingers. I have never been able to feel them myself when I have checked which I was told was fine and he also has never felt them with his fingers before. I’m not sure how long they’re supposed to feel because I had never felt them but when I went to go check if I could get to them, I could and they felt long.

my gynecologist said that I would know if my IUD moved because there would be pain and bleeding which I have not experienced, but this is freaking me out a little bit that they are so noticeable now and was wondering if I am overreacting??

I am calling tomorrow to see what’s going on, but if anyone could let me know if they’ve experienced this before that would be great.
