Baby girl arrived today via scheduled repeat C-section. Everything was great until 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave recovery. My blood pressure was super high and would not go down. Thankfully my nurse pushed for my doctor to order labs and it came back indicating postpartum preeclampsia. I’ve never had any issues with my blood pressure, I usually run low! So now I get to spend the next 12-24hrs getting IV magnesium sulfate. Whew my body feels like it’s on fire! 🔥 But baby girl is perfect and beautiful! 🎀
