Swaddling ? I

Any of you still swaddle your little ones? Trying to transition out but not sure how. Everything I unswaddle her she just smacks herself in the face and wakes herself up helpppp.

We did one arm out at a time for a week at a time at night. He sleeps deeper at night so we started there than with naps. He’s swaddled at his chest, both arms are out now. Try one arm at a time for a solid week. Hope it helps!

Nope my guy rolls so he sleeps in a sleep sack arms out. I think transitioning was easier because he likes to sleep on his side or belly so there’s less flailing room.

We went cold turkey. Her day care doesn’t allow swaddles so on her first day there her naps where terrible. After 2 days of shitty naps at daycare she was so exhausted that we just stuck her in her crib with her arms out and she slept all night. She’s been arms out ever since

We got the Halo transition sleep sack and its a pretty good transition. It definitely took a few night, but now he sleeps like a champ! Plus it’s nice for the colder nights we have now! Good luck!

We are struggling with getting her out of a swaddle. We are using a zipadee zip for naps to help her get used to them for a few weeks before we try it at night again. So we only swaddle at night. We tried one night with arms out and we were up all night she just rubs her face all night waking herself up

Still swaddling She sleeps from 5:30 PM till 4:30 AM

We use a Zipadee Zip so she’s safe for rolling but her arms aren’t completely free, it gives her “edges” and helps the Moro reflex. She also loves to chew on the arm flippers ❤️
