If your baby has a full wet diaper ( at night) & he's still asleep, do you change them or wait until they wake up?

If I notice and my baby is fairly an easier baby, maybe I wake them and change them. If I dont notice or they are a hard sleeper or any combination I may leave them until they wake. Only time I wouldn't is if it were poop. Poop is how you get a diaper rash so i dont mind the pee as much but def not to the poop.

If it’s a little bit of pee while they’re sleeping I leave it, but if it’s like on the verge of leaking or they’ve been sleeping in it for a while then I change it. I’d rather deal with a whiny baby for a couple minutes because I changed them than a whiny baby because they got a rash.

I change her. I just change her in the dark and she sleeps through it. I change her because if I don’t she’s going to keep peeing and then I will have to change the sheets and have to change her pjs anyways.

Just think about yourself in a sense. It would not be fun to sit in a wet diaper till its time to wake up.

I say change them I work as an Assistant teacher to a one year old class and I’ve learned over the years babies are very prone to infections and rashes . Sometimes parents will leave them in dirty diapers for too long and they’d get a rash or yeast infection. So it’s best to change them. You can keep the room dark use the flash light on your phone or a night light. If your baby is really tired then he or she should sleep right through it.

Depends how full. If it’s gonna start leaking diaper beads then I will but if not no. We switched to overnights and now unless she craps we leave it
