I’m also from the UK and have been diagnosed with GD. From your logs it looks like on the whole you are doing really well. I’ve been finding that randomly for some reason my sugar levels are high and I’m not sure what I’ve done because I’ve been eating what I’ve normally eaten under the new diet and the recommended food yet sometimes I can go out for a meal, think I’m going to definitely get a high reading, and I don’t. As long as the majority of your blood levels are on target and you aren’t eating an excess of sugar from really obvious things then don’t panic! You’re doing a great job just keep telling yourself that ☺️

Hi leanne first off your doing really well! Fasting results are good which can be really hard to maintain. How far along are you? Looks like your main problem is sometimes after food but much of the time you are within targets so may be you just need a few tweaks. have you tried pairing food? Will send you a link of the website and fb page I was recommended with loads of info but pairing may help. Basically any time you have any carbs you need to pair it with good fat and/or protein. You should have small amount of carbs every meal and snacks and need to drink loads of water especially when your eating. So for example for breakfast today I had 2 small seed bread (about 11g carb per slice I think) and paired this with 3 rashers of bacon and an egg and a pint of water with it. Lunch I had small jacket with cheese and then some full fat Greek yogurt. The paired food helps slows down release of glucose. So body can deal with it easier. Also at least 15 min or exercise like walking after eating is good if you can. Not sure if this helps you at all, but please dont worry if you need to get a little extra help to control blood sugar. Gd is unpredictable and definately not our fault! Xx
