What to bathe baby in?

My son will be 6 months soon and I read the current baby bath seat we use shouldn’t be used once baby is like 20 or 25 pounds. My son was 17 when he was weighed at 5 months. What do you guys use to bathe baby in? We were using this

Just wondering what to use once he reaches 20 pounds.

Once they can sit up, I just kind of hold them to bathe them until they are more stable, which doesn’t take very long. By 7 or 8 months, my kids are fine to just be sitting on a bath mat without any help from me. So for me, buying another little seat would be a waste of money. The more kids I have, the more I realize how little things I really need.

We have the same thing and my daughter is getting to big for it we are thinking of getting this

I either bring her in the bath with me or bathe her in the kitchen sink.

I just let him sit in the bath tub.

I bought a mat for the tub and lay little one on it with very little water. He loves splashing around. Last night once he was done getting all cleaned up I sat him up and gave him toys to play with. I let him play after getting cleaned until he tells me he’s done by wanting to get out.

I still use that bath seat, he’s 6.5 months and almost 23 pounds. I’m always right there and once he’s sitting better he’ll just go on the bath mat.

Kayla my brother still uses that one and his daughter is 14 months old and can sit up etc 😄 just go with what is comfortable for your baby! The only worry is they can push themselves off that one as my daughter did at 5 months! But obviously you wouldn’t leave them for a second so it’s safe! And you can continue for as long as you want x
