I currently have Nexplanon which I’ve hated since day 1. I’ve bled for months at a time, had depressive episodes, gained weight, have very bad acne, etc.

So I was thinking about switching to the pill hoping that there would be less side effects, I’m pretty good at taking pills on time so I don’t think that’ll be an issue. I also don’t know which I should consider the combo pills or just progestin?

I know the pill has a lower effectiveness rate than the implant but I would be using condoms the majority of the time on top of the pills.

Has anyone else switched and what was your experience?
