Breast feeding?

I just bought this and plan on using while breastfeeding I want to be able to have a great freezer stash so if she decides to stop I will have backup!

I wouldn’t start off using fenugreek. It can actually hurt your supply and can cause major gas problems for baby.

I would be careful trying to create an oversupply. It sounds great, but I’ve heard from a woman who worked hard to get her supply up after having some issues initially, but now that her baby is sleeping through the night she can’t go more than two hours without pumping or she gets terrible clogged ducts. She is miserable. And when it comes time to wean I imagine that will be awful too.

I ended up donating milk (my daughter had issues with dairy/soy so a portion of my stash was useless).  Apparently fenugreek isnt great for preemies or other situations (don't remember) so they would not take my supply from the weekend I took it (supply randomly dropped and i took tea form). From then on, really just making sure I ate well (enough calories), oatmeal! and enough water regulated the supply because if not good enough to donate I didn't want to take it.

I’ve never used any supplements.  Increasing fluids and offering the breast often and maybe even pumping in between is usually enough.  Babies tummy’s are very small when born.  I wouldn’t start with supplements until later.

Been honest fenugreek dried my milk supply i bought some drops to halp me produce more milk and it was gone within 3weeks, I'm not saying it will happen to you but it has happened to several people 
So after having my other 2 kiddos i just kept a schedule to pump every 2-3hrs stay well hydrated and i would eat something small after each pumping also i would eat oatmeal i would make some in the morning and some at night when i had my 4yr old i was pumping up to 24oz every 3hrs what i did tried with him was moringa capsules (mom's moringa) and i feel like that did helped me alot. Also fenugreek will make you smell like syrup your hair (scalp) sweat, urine, armpits good luck tho

If you’re worried, you can always attempt to give yourself an oversupply. I don’t know if I did it to myself or if I’m just a cow haha but with my son, pretty much as soon as my milk came in I started pumping after he nursed because I just didn’t want to be engorged and he wasn’t emptying me. I could pump 5-10oz after each nursing session and 10-12oz after he nursed in the morning. I didn’t try fenugreek until my supply started dropping when I went back to work but honestly I think that was also because I put off my pumping sessions while at work!
