I live above her. I guess I slammed a door one time. She screamed at me in front of her young children because of it. Ever since she slams the door every. Single. Time. She leaves or goes into her apartment (I mean who has the time for that), gives me dirty looks, tells her 4 yr old daughter that she can’t play with my daughter and to not talk to me RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, if I even drop something on the floor she bangs on the ceiling, she literally stares me down anytime she sees me, its fucking weird. This lady is like 30 something and has the maturity of a 7 year old.

Ive told her I’ve never slammed my door on purpose she just kept screaming. I try to be as quiet as possible. I’m hardly ever home. This lady is just insane. The worst part is she’s a stay at home mom (with no husband so I’m not even sure how she pays her rent but whatever) but she’s home all day every day and just has nothing better to do than to try and be as loud and petty as possible when she sees that im home.

And the worst part is the way our apartments are set up I have to walk by her door every time I go up my stairs so I can’t ever even avoid her. I do my best to ignore her but she always throws dirty looks or slams the door every time she sees me.

I try not to let it bother me but it does, I don’t feel comfortable being home, I don’t like to let my daughter play outside or even take my dog out because she’s always there. And I get anxious when my daughter or dog starts to run around because I know she’s gonna start slamming her doors and banging on the ceiling again.

Also she lets her children play and throw their balls up at my windows and I can’t say anything or she just encourages them more. I’ve seen her look up to see if I’m home then have all her kids come out and start yelling and slamming the doors.

Having a mature conversation with her isn’t really possible, she’s not capable of mature conversation as I’ve tried and she slams her door or yells at me like she’s a child.... I’ve talked to our manager and she said there’s nothing she can do...

my lease isn’t up until July either 😭😭😭
