Strep throat in babies is totally different. You could infect other people unless you’re on antibiotics. If you breast feed, I wouldn’t be worried at all; your baby isn’t very likely to get it. If you formula feed, they’re more likely to get it
Strep Throat in babies
I had a sore throat on Wednesday. Thursday morning it was way worse and I went into the doctors. They did a throat swab and I have strep throat. I have a 4 month old baby. I’m just wondering if anyone’s had a baby that has gotten strep throat, and what the early signs are. And how likely is it that strep would pass to the baby?
