Bath after c section?

I had a c section 8 days ago and I feel fine and feel that my stitches are fine. Can I go ahead and take one or should I wait the full 6 weeks?

I waited 6 weeks to ensure the wound was completely closed, you don't really want to submerse yourself in water for a prolonged period of time, getting your wound wet could cause some complications, I was told to only shower Nd let the water fall over the incision and dry thoroughly after a shower 🤷 you could always ask the doctor though

Call your doc to make sure it's ok.

Always follow your doctors recommendations. Feeling fine looking fine is not the same as being healed. You can still get an infection.

I would wait  I waited until my tape came off (don’t take them off yourself because it hurts ALOT after. They’re giving you support)
