Tdap shot

Anyone’s dr recommend y’all get this and anyone who’s going to be around the baby?

My dr recommended me and my husband get the shot and also anyone who’s going to be around the baby as well to get this shot. And I think I’m starting to catch some heat of “why do we have to do this”? And I didn’t have to do this while visiting friends baby in hospital.

I personally don’t understand if your going to be around my baby and the dr recommends it, my husband and myself and our kids have to have it. Then what’s the big deal. It’s one shot so that you and my baby are protected.
