The past 6 weeks have been both amazing and the most exhausting of my entire life. Now that Dylan is going through a growth spurt, we are cluster feeding all day long but thankfully getting 5-6 hours straight of sleep a night. I'm not going to piss on you and tell you it's raining, breast feeding is fucking hard work. The first two weeks were absolute bullshit. Toe curling. excruciating bullshit. It's emotionally, physically and mentally draining. It's also magical, rewarding and extremely satisfying knowing she is growing and healthy because I am responsible for delivering her nutrients solely from my own body.

I know not everybody has the opportunity to be able to breastfeed and I will most likely miss it so I am grateful for our time together, just her and I ❤
