3 weeks and constipated?

Baby’s belly looks a little large (on the sides) and occasionally strains to poop with no results. Does produce 2-3 poops a day. Could the large belly be from poop? Any other causes for this?

Most babies are “pop belly”. It’s just one of the cute features of being a newborn. 
Their digestive tracts aren’t full developed yet and it takes time. 
There are thinks you can do to help aid in digestion for your Lo. 
1) bicycle kicks. Pump their legs like if they were riding a bike. 
2) tummy massages. (YouTube search a good video on patterns to help) but basically you want to do circular motion and then smooth from the ribs down to the pelvic. 
3) gas drops work well. 
4) make sure baby is getting burped well after feedings.
