Daughter (2 yr old) breath stinks

Not being rude or anything I just need some tips . I brush her teeth 2x a day But the tongue gives me a problem ! She don’t show me her tongue wide enough so I can brush it and I don’t want her to gag because I’m forcing the tooth brush on it. Also , is she too young for the kids mouthwash? Cause all she’ll do is swallow it.
