Can I go ahead and use bumper pads?

Question

My daughter has started moving so much at night that when I come in to get her or just check on her she has her head bumped into the bars or her legs have slipped through them.
She's 3 months so I'm not sure if those pads are safe yet...?

No they are not safe. They are a suffocation risk. Yes some people use them and their babies turned out fine but that doesn’t make them safe. If you research, any reputable source says not to use them, they are dangerous.

We never used the bumpers but we have the mesh ones. I know they say none at all but they are breathable. My husband made sure to squish him face against it to breathe and he could.

Just put her into a sleep sack. That way her legs can’t go thru the bars. Even mesh bumpers are sadly a sids risk & not worth it imo. But halo makes sleep sacks that work really well. My son wore them up till he was a year old.

I use the mesh bumpers and they come in multi sections so you can make sure they are a tight fit. And I also used sleep sacs. They work wonders....my lo kept trying to stick her legs through so I got a sleep sac to try and it worked like a charm. Plus helps keep her calmer.

I served my bumber pads through the poles my kid almost broke his leg in middle of night he bruised it pretty bad doctor told me to do that because of how my kid was

We use a mesh thing that goes around that’s breathable. We also set it up so it more outside than inside the crib. We started using it at 7 months. Prior to that he was in a pack n play.
