After birth question

I had my son August 5th. I had my 6 week post partum check up September 13th and I was still bleeding then. A couple days after I had my appointment I stopped bleeding for like 4 or 5 days then started light bleeding for like a week and a half then I started bleeding really really bad for 5 days lost a blood clot and then stopped bleeding again for 4 days and now I started bleeding again yesterday. Is this normal ?
