At what age did you start feeding foods?

Debating on when to start my 4 month old on his first food. Would like your output please.

I would get approval from your doctor to start foods early. Your baby may not be ready.

Every 1 on here is gonna say 6 months but drs have found starting at 4 months resuces  babys to be allergic to certain food if ur baby can sit up and swollow ur fine to feed

We started at 6 months but she was ready sooner. But I held off since she was exclusively breast fed.

When they can sit up pretty well, start to lose their tongue thrust, and seem interested in food.

I didn’t answer cuz I have 2 kids. But with my first we started at 4 months on the advise of our pediatrician cuz she had such bad reflux. It helped a ton. My son we started around 6 months.

I don't remember exact ages but whenever they were interested we started. I think for my first it was well beyond 6 months, 2nd and 3rd were soemwhere between 4 and 6 months I believe. But we weren't doing full on meals, just feeding them off our plates whenever they seemed to want some. They still had all their normal bottle meals.
