Is it worth it?

Thinking about getting the 3D/4D scan. Is it worth the extra money to spend on it?? At what point did you get then done? Did you wait till later in the pregnancy?

I’m getting one because I want to see her face and I’m too impatient To wait until birth lol. They recommend doing it between 26-32 weeks . Before that they don’t have any fat on them so could be weird looking or maybe scare you

Yes sp worth it. here in GA I spent about $75-80 for a 20min session. I often look back at those photos. I had mines at 30weeks. They recommend coming between 28-32 weeks so the baby has enough fat on them but not too crowded in your tummy yet.

My OB office just does it regularly, at all three of my USs so far she has switched it to 4D
I have friends that say they wish their OB did it. I would say it's worth it! Not sure how much it costs though as I have yet to see a bill.

Unsure if it cost extra or not but my ob ultrasound tech offered it the last 5 to 10 minutes of ultrasound at 20w1day. He doesn't look scary to me.

My doctor just switched to it during the anatomy scan. This is 19+3.
