Chemical, miscarriage or too early?

On Thursday evening I got the faintest but clear positive pregnancy test. Each morning since I’ve tested but there’s only ever faint lines, even some days they aren’t as faint as the first one. If I’m pregnant I’m only just on as I only ovulated a week or so ago, is it possible that I’m having a chemical pregnancy or possible miscarriage? My period is 4 days late, and I’m just not sure now. With my first it happened unexpectedly and when I tested I was 6 weeks on, is it possible that it’s just because I’m so early on?
