So, we have one carseat already. I am on maternity leave and will be until this baby is almost 1. Once I go back to work, we plan to put our second car back on insurance and we will need a second carseat.

I had a mishap with Graco (they fixed the issue) and they offered me a $80 rebate if I buy another Graco carseat BUT I have to use it within 90 days of them giving me this offer.

I thought it would be a good opportunity to get the second one but my question is... obviously she's not here yet, I have no idea how big she will be let alone a year from now. Should I get a convertable to be on the safe side, like their Extend2Fit or 4ever? Or should I just wait it out, see how big she gets, miss out on the rebate if theres something much cheaper but not as convertable later on?
