Crying it out?

El

I was in the middle of doing something, my husband was just about to start a project when our baby started crying. I asked if he could get her bottle ready and I’d be right in to feed her.

And he goes “she’s fine, just let her cry... she’s going to cry no matter what”

I just don’t understand his thought process on finish what you’re doing and then take care of the baby. Like, I fit my life around her. It seems to me like he tries to fit her life around his. And I just don’t get it.

I guess what I’m saying is... at what point do I stop running to her every time she starts crying? I feel like 4 months is too soon for that, but I know the “cry it out” method is okay to start at this point.
