Taking a 7 week old to assisted living brunch?

My husbands grandmother lives in assisted living and wants us to come to brunch with her on campus. She has met her before at our house. I’m afraid to take my 7 week old there though because of illness. Opinions?

I would go. Just don’t let anyone touch your little one 🤷🏻‍♀️ I went to the mall when my daughter was 3 days old lol

I wouldn't go anywhere so many people live with a newborn, personally. Just too much potential exposure. I'd probably wait until after 4m shots.

If you want to go maybe bring a wrap/carrier to wear the baby as people are less likely to touch him or her.

I’ve worked assisted living before. It’s really not a germ full place for the most part. Just like anywhere else, keep covered and wash hands and don’t let too many people get too close.

I took my little guy to meet my grandmother at about 6 weeks. We didn't do a meal though, we just went straight to her apartment and hung out there.

I would say that's too young to be around so many people, especially since you won't know the majority of them.   Your baby hasn't even had her shots yet.
