I'm almost 23. Lived in Colorado since i was 7 years old. My boyfriend and i just had our first child together, when i first got pregnant we talked about how moving to Minnesota would be best for our new little family, because he had family out there that could help us watch our son while we went to work.

Well i had our son 4 days ago, and now the thought of leaving my parents and everything i know behind puts a huge lump in my throat. Maybe it's the hormones but the thought of leaving just makes me ball my eyes out. My parents are oddly supportive of the thought of moving, it breaks my heart a bit to think about how my son won't have a very close relationship with my parents though.. ugh 🤧

People move away from their hometowns all the time, why is this so hard for me 😭

How did you do it ? I need some encouragement.
