In the beginning I've always had itching for a few weeks now, expecting it since you know.. people say it's common to have it this late in pregnancy with all the stretch marks I'm getting.

I am exactly 38 weeks today. Just over a week or so it's gotten extreme beyond belly and ankles. Am now itching on my belly, arms, legs and ankles mainly at night. No rash, I can't sleep... at least not very long. It's driving me insane. I suspect I have Cholestasis so yesterday I called my OB and I was able to pick up a blood test referral and did the test the same day (I did not see her in person, she was not in when I went).

I won't be getting my bile acids result until wednesday or thursday (today as I post this it is saturday) so I will be 38+5 or 6. I'm super worried that by that time, inducing me would be very late! My next appt is on Tuesday that I will see her.

But I did get these results the same day and it looks like my liver itself is normal. Is it possible my bile acids could still be high despite that? Worried!
