Conceiving after a loss

** Trigger warning - miscarriage **

I'm experiencing my first miscarriage, we have a 9 month old daughter that we fell pregnant with immediately on our first try. We immediately got pregnant when we tried for #2 but unfortunately this baby didn't stick. I'm now unsure how to proceed, my husband wants us to wait until I feel ready to try again but I don't know if I want to. I'm so scared of having another miscarriage but I want another baby so bad. I don't want to start trying immediately because I feel like I need time to mourn this baby but what if it takes us years to have another healthy baby?

For those that had a loss how long did you take a break from TTC? How long did it take to conceive your rainbow?

I'm feeling very conflicted and lost 😢
