I want to start off by saying this is my 4th baby. I have a 12 yr old, 11 yr old, and 15 month old. All boys. This baby is a girl🎀!

My family and boyfriends family threw me a large shower last May(2018). Since it had been 10 years since I had a baby and had not saved anything.

When we found out this baby was a girl everyone was so excited! Finally a girl after 3 boys! Well two of my aunts and mom said they wanted to throw a sprinkle for me since I had nothing for a baby girl. I said I didn’t need a shower since I had just had one and didn’t need anything big. They insisted it’d just be something small to celebrate baby girl. So I agreed.

My mom and I started looking up baby girl invitations and party supplies. She told me to go ahead and order anything I wanted.

Then no one could agree on a date or whose house to have it at. Once a date was picked my mom and aunt said they’d send out the invites that week. I asked my mom last Monday if she ever sent out invites since the sprinkle was supposed to be in the beginning of Nov. That’s when she said well I wanted to talk to you about that. She said my two aunts had a huge blow out and are not speaking to each other anymore. So it’d be awkward to plan something with them. Then she said it’s my 4th baby, what will people think since I just had a shower last year, and it’s so close to the holidays. All that is true. I never needed or asked for a sprinkle. I absolutely do not need or want a large shower. From the beginning it was just supposed to be something small to celebrate baby girl. I don’t know how to feel?? I’m kind of hurt that they all were so excited in the beginning and now no one wants to do it. To my mom and aunt I just brushed it off like it’s nothing. My boyfriend says not to worry about it that the baby will have everything she needs. His family is amazing and will do anything they can to help.
