Boppy pillow to hospital?

Are you moms packing your boppy pillow for the hospital and breastfeeding? I wasn’t sure if they had something similar to make it easier or if I should pack mine. Don’t wanna waste the room if I don’t need to considering I’m also packing her snuggle me for announcement pictures. 🙃

Not taking mine. I’m kinda a germaphobe and whatever I take will have to be washed immediately at home before I use it again... so I plan to ask for extra pillows at the hospital. I’ll make those work for the couple days I’m there. Then when I get home my boppy will be clean and ready when I need it!

No I didn’t. Just used a couple pillows. But I was only there 24hrs.

You can ask your hospital. Our hospital gave us nearly everything we possibly could have wanted, EXCEPT a nursing pillow. 
If your hospital offers a L&D tour, I highly suggest you take it; it was probably the most helpful thing I did to prepare for labor because they show you everything; where you’ll deliver and the set ups in those rooms, where the recovery ward is and the setups in the those rooms (very different in my hospital), and everything they provide. 
Personally I brought the boppy in the car with us so that way I could have it once we moved to the recovery room. I didn’t ask my husband bring it in until we changed rooms because it was just unnecessary clutter in the L&D room. However, while nursing pillows are amazing, especially when baby is so little and they nurse so quickly those first few days, holding them up to your breast doesn’t take much effort, and you can easily prop other pillows under your arms for a day or two if you don’t want to worry about bringing it.

With my first I didn’t. 1-germs and 2-hospitals have them so just ask to use one or use pillows

I took mine with both my pregnancies it was easier to use then the pillows for me anyways. I’ll be taking it this time too

I did with my first and didmt really use it, so I didmt bring it with my second and didmt miss it. I got rid of it bit I dont plan on getting another one at all. I only breastfed successfully my second amd didmt lile using it, I preferred to wedge a pillow under my arm.
