My 14 month old was sneezing up a storm 2 days ago and started having a runny nose. Yesterday she wasn't sneezing or sniffly, but had a fever and couldn't stay asleep longer than 5-10 minutes during her naps. Gave her some children's ibuprofen and she was fine. But today she has no fever, no sneezing, and no sniffling but is still napping really bad. She wakes up out of nowhere and starts screaming and throwing herself around. It will last about 5 minutes and she is inconsolable during that time. She's fast asleep again just as sudden as when she woke up. I'm not sure how to help since I'm not sure what the problem is. Could it be body aches from being sick or something? Even though she doesn't have a fever should I give her some children's ibuprofen (she hasn't had any yet today)? My first born didn't get sick for the first time until she started kindergarten so I'm not familiar with how to treat a child that can't tell me what the problem is...
