Contractions or over reacting

So today I’m supposed to be heading out for my baby shower in about 1 hour I’m 36 weeks pregnant and my mom decided she would do a baby shower and birthday party for me in one but since this morning I’ve been feeling pretty bad back pain that just won’t stop me and what I feel to be mild contractions but not strong enough to go to the er how ever I’m not sure lol should I just hang in there until the pain is unbearable I’d feel bad if I make her cancel last minute

Update: it’s now 1 in the morning and I’m feeling the same nothing extreme but the pelvic pain and mild contractions haven’t stopped but I’m pretty sure this long everything is ok
