Should my SO and I save up the sperm for my ovulation date or BD during my ovulation window?

Trying to get pregnant is tough! Lol. Worried about low sperm count 😔 I’m worried if we do it during my entire fertility window that we would have low sperm count on my ovulation day. Any thoughts?

My RE doc said every other day during your window and when you get a positive opk, have sex that night and the two nights after as well.

Every other day during fertile window then day of positive, the next day, and the day after. Then skip one day and do it again to cover all bases. Just so you know for the future, “saving up sperm for ovulation” is actually very counter productive as all or most of his sperm will be dead if you go that long without ejaculating. A normal, healthy male will have replenished, healthiest sperm supply  after 24 hours of ejaculating. A man with lower sperm count may take up to 48 hours.

I’ve gotten pregnant twice by having sex the day before during and after ovulation just Incase I ovulated early or late was affective both times for me
