Do you change diapers that are only wet at night?

My son stopped pooping at night a few weeks ago. The last week I have stopped changing his diapers at night because they are only wet and he’s so much harder to get back to sleep after (30ish min vs 1 hour). Part of me feels bad but then I remind myself that he’ll sleep through the night at some point (he sleeps 5-6 hours right now) and won’t get changed the whole night. Plus, the diapers he uses double as night time diapers. Just curious to see what everyone else does.

I only change if it’s poop or if it seems excessively wet. Such a game changer since my little one hatesssssss night time diaper changes anyways.

Nope I only change him if he’s poopy as long as they don’t have a rash and aren’t bothered by it I see no reason to fully wake them up. I dream feed and right back to sleep

I change wet diapers after feeding on one side so he’s awake enough to take the other side. If I don’t, I end up having to pump the other side because he started sleeping 5-6 hours now. When he was only sleeping 2-3 hours I didn’t worry about changing wet diapers every time he woke up to eat.

My girl stopped pooping at night about 2 weeks ago and I no longer change it unless it seems super full. She isn’t bothered by it and it doesn’t leak. She wakes up and wants to talk if I change her lol

My boy will wet through if I don’t change after his feed.

We tried this for 2 nights but the nappy would be so full by morning that it would leak!

I think it’s fine as long as it’s not excessively wet. I’ve switched to changing my boy’s diaper after he eats (bottle fed) in hopes that he’ll wake up and maybe eat more. He usually stays sleeping lol
