Is this poo normal?

My 4 month old breastfed baby had a bit of banana a couple hours ago and this is the BM it’s mucous and green and has squiggles in it
Is that from the banana or does it look like worms?!

If you’re feeding solids at 4 months I suggest waiting another 2 months.

Bananas will leave stringy things in poo. With that being said, this doesn’t look super normal to me. It might be a little soon for solids, but just check with the pediatrician. ❤️

Occasional mucous and green poos are normal in breastfed babies. If it keeps happening, see babies doctor because it might indicate an infection. I don’t see the squiggles, but if they’re similar to the “seeds” seen in yellowish baby pop, it’s just undigested milk fat and it’s fine.
