Sensory issues?

🌹

Anyone else noticing this already? Whenever we have to be away from home, baby gets really easily overwhelmed. It’s any trip, doctor appointments (he sees a few specialists so there are many), the store, even a quiet peaceful visit to grandma’s house. Then, for the next 12+ hours after any outing, he clings to me for dear life and has to constantly be reassured that I’m still there. When I say I can’t put him down at all, I mean it, I set him down and it’s instant screaming, pick him up and silence. He’s not like this all the time, just after an outing.

My second daughter was like this and ended up being diagnosed with sensory processing disorder when she was older. My first wasn’t like this at all.

He’ll be 8 weeks on Thursday and I initially thought it was part of a leap week, but then it never ended.

Also, not leaving home is not an option. SO works out of town for 1-2 weeks at a time so I need to be able to run errands, and baby has important doctor appointments
