I really need to get my acrylic nails removed as some have snapped shorter and they're almost halfway up my fingers now but I don't have the money to get them off right now.

I've tried soaking them in acetone nail polish remover at home but all it did was remove the polish. Is there any other way I can do it? Maybe soaking them longer would work but any other tips please?
