Ok so i know not everyone will read this and think “I need that!” BUT someone somewhere will!

I recently decided to try the period cup, I started my period few days ago and my husband drove me to Walmart where we purchased the diva cup size 1. Once we returned home I read the directions on the box, followed them and then decided I was ready to insert the cup. I tried the U-fold technique which works amazing for me. Once I placed It inside I twisted it 360 degrees (as suggested) then placed my pointer finger inside myself and went around the cup to make sure It was completely opened and sealed inside! (Make sure to wash hands first, and know you do have to get comfy with yourself). Also, side note, after the first use I cut the little grip thing off because It was long and uncomfortable for me.

Removing It is SUPER easy! I just gripped the bottom, pinched slightly and slowly removed it, once out I dumped the substance inti the toilet then washed It with hot water & gentle unscented soap and reinserted It. (If you’re in a public/multi stalled bathroom just bring & fill a small container to rinse it in your stall)

Switching to the cup has been the single BEST decision I’ve made about period products. Here’s why:

1. No period smell, literally.

2. No cramps.

3. I’ve never been/felt so clean on a period before.

4. No drying out from tampons.

5. No harsh chemicals.

6. Saves money in the future.

7. Free to do whatever without having to worry if you’re overflowing.

8. No changing tampons/pads every hour-few hours.

9. No touching a nasty tampon string. I literally got no blood on me this entire period.

10. Sleep peacefully knowing you won’t have an accident or get TSS from a tampon.

Switching isn’t for everyone but it’s definitely something everyone should try out at least once! It’s AMAZING in every way!
