Did you go into labour sudden and unexpected or was expecting it that day?

As a FTM I am getting more anxious towards due date and doesn't feel like he is gonna come any time soon 🤔

I was 4 days early and I couldn’t believe it. I’d had no signs, I woke up at 3am with back ache but that was normal. Then I rolled over and my waters flooded the bed.
I had it in my head that I would go over because everybody told me first babies always go over 40 weeks, and I had my sweep booked for my 40 week appointment. So when this happened I was like erm, I’m not ready 😂😬

Neither - I was 15 days overdue when I finally gave birth, had the full works with induction (went in on day 13 and it still took 2 days in there). Everyone's body is different. Good luck!

My. First daughter it was the day after my due date and I went to bed very fed up, uncomfortable and thinking I was going to be pregnant for a lot longer!!, first contraction started and didn't think it was real... Until 5 hours later after continuous regular contractions.
My second daughter i went for a nap 3 days before my due date, and woke up with a few pain, thought it was wind 😂 and thought it was a good idea to cook a roast... Needless to say, rather than the roast we got a baby...
I never had any feeling with either of my labours, never lost mucus plug, or had any of 'the signs' so don't get too stressed!

I had a sweep at 10am, went for a 4mile walk and when I got home lost all of my mucus plug, contractions started 9pm that night. But I didn't think the sweep was going to work 😂 after that everything went wrong but I won't bore you 😂😂😂

Waters broke at 36 weeks...contractions started eight hours later and baby arrived after five hours

I was 38 weeks had a measurement scan and got told to wait in a room to then be told I’d be getting induced the next day. Scary as hell ! Went in the next day started the process just after 4 and had my little girl the next day at 5:12. Was a little bit crazy but worth it

I’d actually had a feeling for a few days that labour was nearing. The day before I went into labour, I told my mum I didn’t think I’d make it to my due date, and sure enough, I didn’t! 
What I didn’t realise was how quickly  things would progress from little twinges to full blown labour!
