Went in today bc I lost my mucus plug the other day. Had some cramping so doctor wanted to check me out. Still at a 3 &now 70% effaced. So she decided to sweep my membrane today. Didn’t hurt honestly it was just a bit uncomfortable. No bleeding or anything. No cramping either 😔 I’m just ready to get this show on the roooaddd 🥺

It worked the first the with my daughter. I was ready 3cm at 39w6 I cramped up after doing it next day my water broke the next morning

I got a membrane sweep at exactly 40 weeks, had my son at 40+5. So I'd say it didn't really do anything.

I was suppose to have one yesterday but doctor got called in for emergency surgery and they cancelled my appointment😔 now I have to wait another week
