PCOS ladies - was your first period postpartum weird?

I’m 4 months postpartum and had to stop bf last month. Two days ago - I had that dull “my periods going to start” feeling in the pit of my stomach, plus some VERY slight barely there brown discharge. I would have missed it if I wasn’t looking for it. Yesterday - I had terrible cramping in the afternoon into the evening. So bad I had to take Tylenol. No discharge at all. Plus I’ve had headaches both those days. Those signs alone pointed to period is starting. But today, I feel pretty normal, still slight dull ache in uterus, but absolutely no sign of period. No discharge at all still, I’m so confused.

I’ve been on fertility meds before so I know what ovulating feels like and it wasn’t that. What’s going on? I usually don’t get cramps until period starts but now the cramps are gone but no period! Anyone else have this happen? Did your period come eventually??
