Which is a better pet?

So me and my bf talked about getting a little pet together. We dont want a dog because we currently dont live together so we thought maybe a smaller animal is better. From your experience which one is a better pet? Ive looked at youtube videos but i feel like there are so many mixed reviews

Fuck hamsters. I got bit by one of those little fuckers once for no reason, it wasn’t even mine. It was my best friends. I’ve had plenty of GP and while they can be loud, I’d prefer those to a hamster any day. Never had one bite me.

I personally love guinea pigs especially if you get them as baby’s and they grow to be comfortable around you( they’ll be very fidgety and scared in the beginning). They’re easy to case for and super sweet. I never really liked hamsters cause there isn’t much you can do with them. They’re like a side pet like how fishes are. This also comes down with the space you have available. So take everything into consideration. ￼
