Toddler take Benadryl ?

Can my toddler take Benadryl for seasonal allergies? 
We’re having some smoke roll in from fires near our area and he is such a runny nose. I’m wondering if Benadryl would be ok to take and if it would help him? Or any suggestions other than that?

You'll need to talk to your toddler's pediatrician. Benadryl is generally for kids 6 and up, unless a doctor has recommended it.

My pediatrician tells me I can give my 4 month old benedryl for his cold to help dry him up

My son went on Zyrtec right before he turned 2 for allergies.

My toddler took it when she was about 2...only about 2.5ml...how old is your toddler? My daughter was able to take Zyrtec at 2 every morning for her allergies and it doesn’t cause drowsiness. I give her 2.5ml.
