Trouble latching

Can't get a deep latch

Will only stay on for around 5 minutes if that

Breaks latch

Usually ends up sucking in her top lip

Started pushing away from boob

The only reason she hasn't dropped weight (since dropping weight from latching issues) is because weve literally rotated constantly between boob / pumping / formula

Midwifes coming for a check up tomorrow- she doesn't have a tongue tie, im sure its lip though...if the midwife agrees then what? I feel bad if she has and I didnt notice but I also feel bad if she'd have to have it cut 😬... damned if I do, damned if I dont.

Anyone had their LO have theirs done?

Any crying? What's the healing time?

Mum guilt will be strong but if it helps her :(
